Hello Iris! :D Welcome to FES. I hope you'll enjoy your stay.
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.

I'd like to welcome Iris too, even though I already have. I recently discovered her website, and she has done some really interesting research into the Flat Earth Society:

Well, according to her website, it looked more like she was just studying the history of FET.

Okay, okay.  I didn't mean to sound so challenging, it just seems odd that a newbie would be made an instant FEB.

I had no idea that there was some sort of dogmatic orthodoxy that flat earth believers were to be 'tested' against.

Still some good stuff on that website.  This page has some interesting stuff but the pic at the bottom of Iris doing 'horizontal dancing' made me lol.  I thought horizontal dancing meant something else.

Her "work" has been discussed before on the site.

I seem to remember it being centered on performance art along with flat earth props, etc.
