Digital camera/Weather balloon experiment

ok i looked at the pic from the digital camera and i think this picture shows that the earth is curved now dont get all mad stay with me here for a second the picture shows the earth is curved not by the dividing line of earth and space but by the fact that this picture is not showing a huge portion of the earth which it would if the earth was truly flat because if it were flat this picture would show a huge portion of the earth this is a small portion or is that dividing line between earth and space where the ice wall is?

You know what fullstops are for? Use them.

I'm not answering your question because I believe in a round earth. But you aren't going to get many answers around here with such poor grammar, spelling and syntax. Try again.

He's saying that if the Earth was flat, you would be able to see a lot more of it.

The fact that the Earth has a horizon, even at that height, shows that it curves away from the observer.

I think it looks like it's curved, but it's definitely not very clear. All REs will believe it looks curved and all FEs will believe it looks flat pretty much no matter what.
The only thing that needs to be done is for some of the people who believe the earth is flat to do the experiment themselves.

But I would like to say that if there was a big conspiracy that the earth is round and scientists want to make sure no one knows it, then they would probably be doing whatever they could to make sure these experiments are not done by average people.

OK, now that we have the picture of Earth with the tangent line, I believe anyone looking at it can draw their own conclusions.  Debating whether or not you see a curve is pointless.

However, it does seem strange that the FEers who don't see a curve aren't posting this picture (including the tangent line) all over the place saying "ZOMG WE FINALLY HAVE SOME EVIDENCE!!!!"

No, the landmasses would still appear to be on one large plane. They never do. They always look as though they are becoming squished on themselves as they near the curved edge, indicating that they are disappearing over their own horizon

I've never seen the earth "curving away" in any high altitude shot.

Take another look at that picture.  Doesn't it seem kinda strange that the sun's spot of light is brightest around the edges?  That doesn't fit with real world experience, does it?  Last time I checked, it doesn't get brighter around sunset.
