Couldn't the recording of seismic activity across the world help disprove a RET or FET?

Measuring times from when one station measured it compared to when other stations did is how they find the epicenter.

I've always wanted my own seismograph.  Maybe I can get a FES grant.  :)

Rather than count on a grant, maybe I should just forgo the next ten or so rounds of nifty new shoes and become a technonerd.  I'll have to think on it.

The tsunami hit here. 40cm high wave. Unfathomable number of deaths.

I don't know why the bother issuing tsunami warnings to places like here when they know it's going to do shit all.

All it would have done in New Zealand was make the sheep shrink a little bit anyway.

It didn't even get passed the beach. 40cm tsunamis are boring.

Of course it didn't take very long for the scumbags out there to try to take advantage of the situation.

Besides, perhaps FET is a conspiracy too.

Go with the shoes, Peachy.  I would.

I went in the backyard, sat down legs crossed in the traditional lotus Sukhasana, and contemplated spiffy shoes seismograph, spiffy shoes seismograph, spiffy shoes seismograph. I really won't know the outcome until I pass a shoe store.

About $3.75. We had to buy some new spades and buckets to rebuild the sandcastles that the wave obliterated.
