Go to http://mibbit.com/chat/
Press the green "server" button, and type in irc.slashnet.org
Type #theflatearthsociety into the channel name.
Type in your name.
Hit Go.

I'm just going to address this right now. If you're afraid the current ops, who have all been picked for good reasons, will abuse their powers, don't be. I've told them what's expected, they won't do anything stupid.

I was addressing Wilmore. Why is this new one being endorsed as "official" when the other one never has been, despite my offer to negotiate more rigid operation with Daniel (this could apply to any other admin, for that matter) in exchange for official status?

Why not just leave them all unofficial and unpinned, then, since none of them are really run by the site's moderation? Mine was never pinned and Johannes's was never pinned, now this one got made and it's pinned within an hour.

I'm still not really sure what reason there was for Franklin to make this apart from losing his op status in the old one, which isn't a very good reason for the website to officially endorse it. He lost his op status for a reason, simple as that.
