But I don't think there's an ice wall. All that ice is just... the other side... o_O

If the sky were a dome, the dome would not appear to end a few miles in any direction. Unless of course you believe the Earth is only a few miles across. However, this makes perfect sense in a round Earth model: the reason the sky appears to be a dome is because you can see only a semisphere of it.

You only need to be a few miles up to see the curvature of the Earth; you only need to be a few miles down (from the sky) to see the curvature of the sky. In fact, if you go to the beach and look at the horizon, you CAN see the curvature of the Earth, though the curve is very small.

I have been all around the world, and seen the sky; it contradicts the Flat Earth model and is consistent with the Round Earth model. Solid empirical proof.

If the atmosphere was a dome, then the atmosphere towards the outer edge would appear to slope upwards towards the north pole. And it doesn't. And the maximum altitude for a plane would be lower over antarctica. You guessed it: it isn't.
