Fries in general suck. Proper chip shop chips are where its at.

Chip shop chips = steak fries?

Looks like it.

I would kill for some proper chippy chips right now.

Yeah, I had lame in () next to baked, but didn't want to make you feel bad.  Though, if you are eating healthy, you are missing some things anyway.
It does bring up the interesting question of the outcome of a twice baked potato if the second baked meant deep fried.

ALl potato based foods that are not mashed such.

All non-mashed potato based foods are superior to mashed potato because mashed potato is the most vile thing ever invented.

I've tried "real" mashed potato at restaurants before, I've tried the shit you make by mixing powder into water, all of it is fucking vile and I will not touch it.

Meh, I really don't snack either.  I used to eat poorly when I was younger, but now that I cook, there seems to be no point when 9/10 times I can make it better.

Those "real" ones probably came from the same place.

Nothing like picking the potatoes from your garden and having fresh mashed taters an hour later.
