I'm getting a feeling here that someone isn't playing the game right.

I cannot possibly comment about alleged labelling cockups...

The game got broken Saddam. It was an accident. I would have made it last longer though if other people hadn't known, damn them.

Jack broke the game cuz Chris doesn't know how to properly label people in a pm.

It's not Jacks fault.  As an explorer it is his job to find out who the agents are.

That's 8 for Dann, 7 for Frostee by my count.

We need 3 more.

It's like that pm thing at the beginning of the game, just kind of lame.

I'm not sure what's the deal with this whole mix-up, but I'm fairly certain we would've lynched Jack1704 and Raist regardless. Are you guys saying you know who the third agent is, though?

Well that was unfortunate.  But I don't see the reason for keeping this thing going if we already know who the last agent is.  What are we just going to pretend?  Not that I don't enjoy Chris's writings, but I just don't think it is fun anymore if we all know who it is.

Also, I was trying to swing suspicion to frostee without relying on that "information".  I did find other legitimate reasons to suspect him.

Also, as Chris said, photoshop could have been used, though I think unlikely.  It certainly would bring an interest back into this game if it turns out not to be frostee.

Next game I do suggest that we all hide our online status before the game starts, that would certainly make it much less likely that an agent would get discovered sending his/her message.  That was an unfortunate freak occurrence anyway.

Dann was the third vote to lynch Jack1704, he also eventually changed his vote to lynch Raist.  I do not think he is the agent.

Frostee on the other hand, did not participate in the vote when it was obvious we were going to get it right.  He didn't vote for anybody the last two times.  Now that Gayer is starting the bandwagon against Dann, who is obviously not an agent, frostee is very quick to jump in and vote for him.  His advocation for the lynching of Dann, while not a peep about Jack1704 or Raist, gives him away.

I vote to eyeroll at all of you.  ::)
Eyerolling is sneaky. Agent's are sneaky. Hmmmmm coincidence?

Not buying it.

Yes, once you know someone is an agent you will see lots of clues. Anything they do out of the ordinary you'll spot, it doesn't mean you discovered it on your own.

Okay...look, I don't have a clue what you guys are talking about with PMs and screenshots, but the rules didn't really seem that complicated to me.  Jack is neither a detective nor an agent, so what does he have to do with "breaking the game"?

There is Jack, and there is Jack1704. From what I gathered, the PM Chris sent to the Agents made it seem like Jack was the Agent, when he meant Jack1704. Raist PM'd the wrong one, and broke the game.

For the next game, which I'm hoping is in the somewhat distant future, we should have a rule against similar names.

HEAR YE HEAR YE, THE PROFESSOR SPEAKS

I've been tryin' to get down to the Heart of the Matter
But my will gets weak
And my thoughts seem to scatter
But I think it's about forgiveness
Forgiveness

----
Frostee looked on in impotent terror as Dann sharpened the ice-breaking pick-axe theatrically. Blood-red sunlight gleamed off it's frozen surface and bathed him in crimson.

"You betrayed us, Frostee." He said "For that you'll die."

"No!"

He broke free of Taters and Marcus' grip and tackled clumsily into Dann, drawing blood from a small flick-knife hidden in his hand. If the blade had hit anything important, Dann didn't show it as he roared and pushed Frostee aside, who rolled on the ice and raised himself into a crouch, holding the little blood-stained knife like a shield. The three chosen to make the kill circled around the man, Dann clutching the wound on his chest.

Taters unsheathed her knife and leapt at Frostee, who parried her wild arc and planted a kick to her stomach before spinning to swipe out the legs of the advancing Marcus. Frostee's hand swung around to plant his blade squarely in Taters' stomach but a desperate last-second roll took her out of the knife's curve to let it harmlessly hit the ice.

Dann took this opportunity to jump on Frostee's arm but his feet slipped on the ice and he landed awkwardly mere millimeters from the razor-edge of the knife.

"If I'm going down I'm going to make damned sure you go with me." Frostee growled at Dann and started to force his hand towards Dann's eye. He tried to climb out of the way but Frostee had pinned him with his legs "Say hello to darkness, bastard."

Dann's scream echoed over the ice and drew the others who arrived in time to see Dann scrabbling on the floor clutching a river of blood pouring from where his right eye had been seconds before. Frostee started to pull himself up when Taters' pick axe thunked into Frostee's skull.

Finding the microchip wasn't difficult.

****

Awesome. The word is thrown around so much in contemporary society that when one encounters something truly awe-inspiring it can be hard to put across the true extent of the sense of wonder filling one's soul.

The Explorers felt the true meaning of the word 'awesome' as they looked over the edge of the world, one moment  there was a desert of ice, the next an infinite sea of blackness speckled with a bright dusting of stars.

Nobody said a word, the natural wonder in front of them said everything which could possibly be said. The arc of the Milky Way dipped into a spiral ribbon which bucked and curled somewhere far beneath the disc of the Earth, taking with it a glowing trail of twinkling lights.

"Now." Gayer said, after clearing her dry throat "Does anyone remember which way home is?"

THE END
----

Frostee was Nasa Agent and is now dead - The Explorers win a perfect game.

Ok, sorry my PM wasn't clear, I forgot we had a Jack in the game, so I thought that "Jack, you are Agent Gulliver" would have just been astatement about whose Agent name everyone got, the 'sent to' line would have revealed who was actually an Agent.

Hopefully it was fun, anyway. If not, I apologise profusely.

That's what I thought. In the PM, the agents should be able to see the part where it reads "Sent to: Jack1704, Raist, frostee". It seems they didn't read that part.

Lol. To clear things up, me, seeing that 'Jack' played a good game earlier before, I messaged enquiring who I should kill. The PM from Chris said 'Jack' was a fellow agent so I messaged him, not looking at who it was actually sent to.

I didn't even know you could send pm's to multiple people at once. I just assumed he did it in the same style as Lord Wilmore. (Though in chris' defense Lord Wilmore is anal and tends to do everything in a way that is hard to misinterpret)
