What? If you have an opinion that differs vastly from the majority, you aren't wrong

Yes, you are. Do you honestly mean to say that opinions such as "Jonas Brothers are t3h best band EVAR!!!11!!" are good and stand up under scrutiny?

An opinion has no value. It's a matter of personal taste. If you think the JoBros are good, then that's your opinion. I disagree, though.
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.

Obviously. But some tastes are better than others.

Yes, they are. Certain tastes are superior to others.

You are such a strange person. If some tastes actually are superior to others, then what merit does your personal taste have? I am studying for a degree in cultural studies at the moment, does that make my taste better than other people's?

A lot of it. My tastes are often correct.

Of course your personal tastes are correct to you, they're your personal tastes. Your argument is circular.

When faced off against others'? Ah, I see now. You're one of those people. I know a guy like you irl. Whenever someone disagrees with him, he just holds his ground until the rest of the group drops the subject with heavy sighs. Of course, to him, it seems he's won the argument.

Just from this description he seems more intelligent than you. Tell him he gets the Dino seal of approval.

Why are you calling me a sick bastard and saying nothing about Hitler? Obviously, you have a double standard and support the extermination of the Jews.

Two of those "atheists" were reportedly Christian at death. (Darwin and Lincoln) And in the end I don't care who was atheist, doesn't make it right.

While we're at it, Albert Einstein never said he was atheist, more agnostic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein%27s_religious_views

Nor was Jefferson atheist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Jefferson_and_religion

I agree. The fact that religion makes no fucking sense is what makes atheism right.

From your own link:

"The "Lady Hope Story", first published in 1915, claimed that Darwin had reverted back to Christianity on his sickbed. The claims were rejected by Darwin’s children and have been dismissed as false by historians."

Maybe read what you link, before embarassing yourself next time.

I did read it. I also think there's a possibility they're denying it cause it would make his life work questionable.

Why would it? The Theory of Evolution stands on it's own merits, without the need for Darwin to an atheist. Even if he was a pious Christian (which he obviously was not), it wouldn't change a thing.

Also if you discount the Lady Hope story, he still wasn't atheist, he said earlier in his life was agnostic.

Agnostic or Atheist. He died not believing in God. As I said, his religious views are of no consequence anyway. I only argue this, because it's deplorable how people try to make him a believer long after his death.
