I do too, though I strongly believe our definition of "good effect" differs.

Then how am I supposed to know whether or not the effect she's had on me (from your perspective) is "good" or not? I certainly consider it to be so, although my reasons aren't religiously based.
Also, if you didn't want to discuss the topic, why did you bring it up in the first place?
