It's actually a decent comic, too.

It was actually this one, though I like both.

And another one of a typical astrology believer:

The belief that more crimes are committed during the full moon is not an astrology belief. It is possibly an urban legend but based on the fact that many vertebrates have monthly cycles controlled by the phases of the moon. In fact the correlation is so strong that deer hunters time their hunts according to the moon's phases so that the bucks will be rutting and more likely to be called in.

28 day moon cycle, 28 day menstrual cycle. Odd that an external stimuli might effect our patterns of behavior in some subconscious way. (doesn't even bother to extend this to the day night cycle that completely controls modern life for no reason considering electric lights can illuminate everything we need)

I love this one!!!

Now all we need is FearTehGators to come on and say

"GLOUBAHL WURMING IS TEH LIES!!!!111!!!"

I interpreted it as equating the almost religions belief many have in global warming to actual religious faith.
I don't remember anything. Well, I do, but it's really vague. Like I was on drugs the whole time.

Ok? Want to move on to the deer rut cycle. Day night cycle. Choral spawning at the exact same moon phase. The list goes on. Believing organisms are effected by highly visible cycles is not the same as astrology.

Also, read farther down the article where he admits he does not know, says most research shows the average menstrual cycle studies have shown is closer to 29 days and some change, and that multiple animal species have menstruation and mating linked to moon cycles. This is especially important in animals that release their gametes into a liquid to be fertilized. (liquids such as water or air in the case of pollens)

The articles ends in a giant "idk it might"

Common improper usage is still improper.

Yes there are theories of gravity, but in general none of them work on the macro and micro scales and therefore are incorrect. The proper title is "Laws of gravitation"

(Sorry for the late response)

I stand corrected.

What I meant was that the typical astrology believer will only take positive evidence into consideration and brush off predictions that don't fit. Also, the menstrual cycles, coral spawning and stuff may be true, but is there any evidence that violent crime rates rise with the full moon?

also, here's another one.

How would you feel if you were Obama and the Chinese ambassador came and bowed before you? Now try vice versa, but with shaking hands.

Let the Chinese ambassador bow if he wants, I don't want my president bowing at a representative of a country that treats it people like crap.
