Majora's Mask.

I really liked this game, too! But the little mandatory mini-quests got on my nerves. Going on the moon was really trippy though.

Also, Katamary Damacy!

Guitar Hero

Lame game for lame people who can't be arsed learning to play a real musical instrument and learn original material.

Fixed.

OH right.

I'd go Guitar Hero and....Wind Waker.

For it's.....
...the first game I've played as an adult that amde me feel the way games did when I was a child.

Although I'm still technically a minor, you know what I mean.

Well I like it, but you can't go past the impact it has made http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_impact_of_the_Guitar_Hero_series
It has also got a lot of people to go out and play real instruments. Because of significance and its impact GH is my vote for sure for game of the decade
also, i think i heard somewhere that it helped rock music on the pop charts.

Very good, but if you like this, you should play Ico.

GTA:SA
is fail though. If you're picking a GTA game, then it has to be Vice City.

You're just racist.  San Andreas is clearly the best one and you just hate black people.  I don't think I've spent more time playing any other game, and I'm still willing to bet I haven't seen everything it has to offer.  That is a class game.

San Andreas is the shizz. I disliked Vice City.

I shouldn't say disliked, I should say dislike. I have both of them and I would much sooner play SA, but when VC came out it was awesome.

Nah, SA just isn't funny. Where are the funny adverts, radio shows and billboards? Almost none of the usual GTA humour is present. The game just feels like they spent so much time trying to make it bigger and better on a technical level, that they forgot to give the game any character. The only character who's really funny is the triad boss.

I actually like Los Santos, especially the area in and around CJ's house, but beyond that, the game lacks soul. The perfect example of this is the Area 51 (or whatever it's called in the game) mission. How can you have Area 51 in a GTA game, and not have some hilarious alien-probe gag, or something like that? There isn't one joke to be found in the whole base. That's how you know there's something wrong.

I loved the small time gangsta staff in Los Santos, the Outlands country people, and also the casino biz in Las Venturas however some parts were just ridiculous. Huge military scale combat doesnt belong in GTA

Bah WoW gaaaaaay
As far as a big mainstream game that everyone could appreciate, I dont think any GTA cuts it. Something like Battlefield 1942, which brought the first large scale vehicle centric FPS game. GTA3 isnt really something which caught on for the masses or is still widely played.
what the hell are you talking about, just because you were 10 when gta came out doesn't mean it wasn't popular... Gta is one of the most popular series... Gta 3 was revolutionary... Created a genre. Also gta games get progressively better... San Andreas was the best when it came out... I would say the sims or gta
3 as game of decade

Well, on the one talk radio station, there's that one segment about UFOs and shit, and there's "probe" references in there.  Also don't forget the little "Probe Inn" diner.  Most of the humor in GTA is very subtle, and maybe you just miss most of it, but SA definitely has it.

I defintely don't 'miss' the humour in GTA. I loved GTA III, and Chatterbox Radio from GTA III remains one of my favourite comedy sketches ever. Vice City is also packed to the rafters with brilliant in-jokes, stupid references to genitalia, etc etc. GTA IV, whilst not my favourite of the series, at least tried to bring back the humour that was so absent in SA.

Thank god for vidja games, eh?

RE2 was the best in the series IMO.  The only reason 4 got any attention was because it overhauled the horrid controls to be only slightly less so.
