Is there a beginning for the universe!?
« on: December 25, 2009, 11:58:52 AM »
If yes than is it part of "Anything" or part of "Nothing"

If No then from where the "Universe" came into being? From itself or from nothing?

:)

It is the atheists that are able to accept their ignorance upon this subject. It is the religious who need to cheapen the answer by making one up.

You're assuming there was nothing.

I just want all the members here answer the question Almighty God asked in one verse in the Quran:

"Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? "

After answering, I just want you to think only one minute of your answer, wise men don't require more than 1 minute. If you are having difficulty you may ask your kids to answer the question :)

This question seems to make just as much sense...

Is there a begining for God!?

If yes than is He part of "Anything" or part of "Nothing"

If No then from where "God" came into being? From Himself or from nothing?

:)

"Was He created of nothing, or was He himself the creator? "

After answering, I just want you to think only one minute of your answer, wise men don't require more than 1 minute. If you are having difficulty you may ask your kids to answer the question :)

If God can create Himself, why couldn't the universe have created itself?

I want you to answer that question.
I don't know what you're implying, but you're probably wrong.

Is there a sunny day with the sun in the sky? I believe morality can be based on rationality only. While people do not think rationally, there is no morality. If people think rationally, morality becomes a part of their thoughts.

I'm almost certain that there was a beginning for the universe. It seems logical, since I don't see how it can exist if it never started existing. Except for what was before the universe... maybe a different universe. Maybe a different universe collapsed in on itself, which then formed the Big Bang... but then where did the first universe come from? Hmm, it's a brain teaser. Still, I really feel that somewhere there was a beginning.

I think it's part of "anything". Because it's physical. I can reach out and touch the table in front of me. It feels like it's part of "anything", however this "anything" is. Or maybe we have it all backwards. I don't think that we'll ever really know.

I just posted a reply to this thread about a current theory on the origin of the universe that nobody's heard of and is a pretty damn good theory (not like string theory  ::))

If god does exist and he managed to create himself then clearly he would be so powerful and wonderful and capable of anything.
Stop all this nonesense and bring on the lapdancers.
I understand Jack1704. It's a Brit thing.

Well your question doesn't apply to God because we ask this question for only creators, things which are created, God is a creator so the question: "Who created God" in fact is a wrong question.

Secondly, we all agree there was things before the Universe that means it came to thing after there was nothing, and we all know one of God's attributes that he is the first, nothing is before him so that question doesn't apply

Quote
why couldn't the universe have created itself?[/b]
I want you to answer that question.

Because we all know that non-living beings don't have mind of themselves, like the rock, it doesn't have the wisdom, power of thinking, breathing....etc so logically the universe can't create itself because the attributes of the Universe is against it while God's attributes are matching and goes accordingly with his other attributes.

Why are you trying to prove your religion anyways? Religion is somthing that is based on faith, otherwise it would not be religion.

You're so dumb

For every claim there should be reasons and evidences to prove the claim, once you succeed and if it applied then you will succeed in proving me a dump and you are the dumper. Being stupid when you can stop being stupid is worse than someone who is originally stupid :)

Because I feel so sorry for people who can't believe in the existence of Almighty God because I know what are waiting for them. I was raised to love happiness for others as much as I love it for myself.

That doesn't answer the question at all. If Religion were based on such logic, proof, and evidence, that you are trying to present, than wouldn't it be science?

wat
Religion= faith. Science= logic. In religion, you are rewarded for putting faith into whatever your religion tells you. That's the point. The point of science is to not require any kind of faith. However, note that I'm not implying that they are opposites.

no after the first years have passed and the first people died. Or you must ask on whose claim to be replied specifically.
