Contributions to Society
« on: December 13, 2009, 08:49:52 PM »
Since this is THE place to be if you care about your flat earth, I thought I would start a thread about modern contributions of flat earthers to society.  A place to share the, I'm sure, bounty of distinct progress that zetetic thought has resulted in, and thinkers have made possible.

What better place to honor them than here?

Levee has made some very impressive progress in correcting errors in FES's FAQ:
http://theflatearthsociety.net/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=71f6d15542bd5ee64cd9fcca47946df5&topic=1183.0

His contributions to the zetetic scientific discourse are far greater in depth of research and extensiveness than really any other member this website.

I will be completely honest when I say that I couldn't care less what any globularist thinks of Levee's work; I know it to be of substantial value.

I will also say this: show me a true Flat Earther who thinks Levee's work is not a massive contribution to our science? I haven't seen one post yet!!! Show me one individual, on this Flat Earth Society website, who knows the Earth is flat and who thinks that Levee's work is a bunch of rubbish.

So to any of you who are more interested in posting pictures of cats and telling juvenile in-jokes all day long than in participating in science, I suggest you keep quiet instead of trying to smear one of the best researchers in the entire Flat Earth movement.

It looks like Levee is at serious odds with the majority of FEer's on this forum...

Right. I had pointed out that Levee's concepts are at odds with the majority of FE believer's here. The most concerning to me personally is his thought that much of antiquity was completely fabricated as part of the conspiracy.

I have found that unless you click every link and read each page, it's impossible to appreciate his obvious mastery of research. Read everything first before passing judgement.
I saw a slight haze in the hotel bathroom this morning after I took a shower, have I discovered a new planet?

Mastery of research?

He argues that the Torah and New Testament where written by Jesuits and Templars and that the Great Flood recounted in the Book of Genesis took place in 1600 AD.

Did you honestly think that nobody would look at what he actually said after you referred to him as somebody with "mastery of research"? Shame on you.

C'mon guys, I just wanted this to be a place we could celebrate the achievments of FE believers.  Where we could show that this world has been changed by FEers, and that FE contributions are really what keeps things progressing.

After people read this post, I want them to think "wow, if it weren't for the thorough, brilliant, and meticulous as Zetetic FET scientists, we would never have made it as far as we have in such a short time"

Not to blow my own trumpet but I have advanced a zetetic account of paleontology, and pioneered research in this field, which appears to have now become widely accepted in the non-globularist scientific community.

And with what empirical evidence did you pioneer this field?

Carry on.

I think his point was, what has FE thought contributed to society beyond these forums. What have they done to radically change the ideology of how people think? I seriously want to know.

I'm giving you five points for that one

That was his pioneering research.
