I'm compiling a big list of everywhere I could send press releases about the Society's reopening. Places like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal are probably not worth the effort, but there have to be tons of smallalternative newspapers, magazines or online media outlets that might be interested. If you know of any, please post them here.. preferably with an email address for the editor (or appropriate press release recipient) if you can find it. And if anyone feels like Digg'ing the the front page, there are convenient Digg/reddit buttons at the bottom of the page.If anyone has other ideas about how to promote the re-launch of the Society, I'm all ears!
We're all jealous of Raist.
Since the BBC has published us before, we should try them again. If you'd like, I can get in touch with Brendan O'Neill specifically, since he's researched us already he might be up for covering the press release too.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Quote from: taters343 on November 01, 2009, 03:12:21 PMThe Daily Show with Jon Stewart. This may be the best idea yet. His show, along with Colbert's, is most likely to actually run the story, and they get a lot of viewers.

Plus these shows would be more likely than any others to actually request an appearance on the show.
