What happens to airplanes and boats when they reach the edge of the Earth and magically appear on the opposite side of the world?

They never reach any edge of the Earth.  On the FE map the north pole is in the center and Antarctica (the Ice Wall) is around the edge.  Thus, when a plane or boat travels east or west it is actually following the curve of a circle around the north pole.
