how can u create the earth round?

Photoshop.

Quote
if u think of it logically for a sec, one, the people who have sailed around the world, they went around, now if it is flat that would be impossable.

Not so.

Quote
and the world being round gives us one big thing, atmosphere, that u know gives us oxygen, which means if the world was flat we wouldnt get much and die quicker, also if it was flat, there would be no hills, mountains, basically all flat,

You're right, the earth is not technically flat. When people talk about a flat earth they just mean that the earth is a disc, not that it really is completely flat with no variations in elevation, just like when people talk about a "round" earth they don't actually mean round.
If you say that the earth is flat, you are destroying centuries of evolution.

Who's trying to convince you of anything?

I see the whole point of this site is not to try and convince people that the earth is flat.

It has achieved it's objective.

Unnecessary apostrophe. Ouch. Way to lay down the punch, Duke Felchface.

How petty do you want to get?!?!

I also want to grace the idea of commercial space travel now.  It's now coming increasingly more available and flights can be purchased for $20-30 million.  Now my reason for bringing this up is that those who pay for these flights are very rich and well known people.  Therefore, I believe it unlikely that they could be paid off by the conspiracy as the revelation and announcement that the world was flat would be a far greater thing for them than a big pay cheque.  It is also close to impossible that they too are part of the conspiracy as they are well known and have long backgrounds in their respective fields for instance Richard Garriott who is a video game developer, or Charles Simonyi who works for microsoft.  You can argue that they have been part of the conspiracy from day one but then why would it be possible for me to go to space if I had $200,000.  Why would the leaders of the conspiracy allow that if what you say about them being the only ones who have access to a height where you can see that the earth is flat.  It just doesn't make sense.

Fine, what about Anousheh Ansari, Charles Simonyi and Mark Shuttleworth.  None have any connection to NASA but they all flew self funded to space.  You also haven't addressed how and why they would make it possible for me or anyone else to go to space if I had the right money.  Explain

No mate, you're just some guy who tries to make himself seem big by making up the fact that he's part of a conspiracy which is conning billions of people.  If that helps you feel good about yourself then fine.

They are mainly people though that $25million seems like pocket change to them.  Finding out that the world is flat would be well worth losing the money for as in revealing this, they could probably sue the space program which was meant to take them for far more than they had paid, and the added fame and money that would come with being the person who revealed the world was flat would be a bonus making it all the more likely that had it been a con, they would have come out and said.  You still refuse to answer my question why they would offer it to any average joe in the first place if they wanted to keep it so secret.

Your argument here is internally contradictory.  Guys to whom twenty-five million is chump change are not the same as 'average joes.'

That doesn't really change much about my argument though.  You're just using that as a way of avoiding my question.  Space flights are available for $200,000, it's just a stay in orbit which costs so much money.  Stop dancing around my question and give me a proper answer.

Quote from the FAQ:

Q: "How did NASA create these images with the computer technology available at the time?"

"A: NASA did not send rockets into space; instead, they spent a fraction of their funding on developing increasingly advanced computers and imaging software to cover their lies.

PLEASE NOTE: This means that pictures confirming the roundness of the Earth DO NOT CONSTITUTE VALID PROOF.  Neither does any other experiment, theory, testimonial etc. that proves the Earth is round as we are stubborn, narrow-minded and completely oblivious to any realm of sensibility.

Wow, ironic.  I just asked how Proleg pointing out that we're not trying to convince you of anything is a verbal attack, and you follow it with a genuine verbal attack.

This is typical of REers who visit this forum; you accuse us of ignoring questions and instead "attacking" you, then ignore our questions and attack us.  That's pure ignorance, you know.  You are an ignorant person.

By the way, we frown down on low-content posting and flaming in the upper forums.  Please don't post crap like this again.  Also, note that the same goes for profanity.  Both are bannable offenses.

And how about answering my question?
