I don't see an A or a B in that picture.

There are lots of places in that picture. Which ones are you referring to, specifically?

First provide evidence that it has been done. We get a lot of people claiming to be astronauts, Antarctic explorers, oil drilling engineers, pilots and such on here; how do we know your words are trustworthy?

How do you propose to go by boat across Antarctica in a few hours?  ???

I've decided to be nice and ignore the problems with your original diagram. Please excuse the shoddy additions: I did it using photoshops editing feature:

It's not really a map, and it's not new. It's been around for quite some time.

LOL. If it's not a map what is it? A perplexed tulip? A herd of shimmering mackerel? A non disclosure agreement?

It's also not the map in the FAQ. I love how you guys change the goalposts almost every post. Makes your epicfail shine through nicely.

It's an azimuthal projection, actually.

That would make it a map then.

Thanks for coming to class today. Please sit quietly at the back and draw on your arm like you did last month.

Well, if you're going to dwell on semantics, frankly that's your problem. It's usually the first recourse for a poor debator. My point is that I do not believe that projection represents the world as it actually is (i.e. the position and extent of some of the continents is not 100% accurate. For this reason, I do not claim that it is a FE 'map'. Rather, it's a simple diagram used to demonstrate the concept. People get all sorts of silly ideas in their heads once you call something a map.

It's an azimuthal projection of an RE map, actually.

Fixed for pedantry.

To the OP, like Wilmore said these are just diagrams. They aren't perfectly to scale.
