Just wondering, do you guys in the US. get any coverage of an Australian Football game called "State of Origin"?
The actual sport is Rugby League (kind of like Gridiron, but without the protective gear, long stoppages, and one team for offence and defence), but as we're usually fairly dominant (although increasingly notso) in the international matches, the "State of Origin" (Played between the best players from the Australian states New South Wales and Queensland) is widely accepted as the pinnacle of the sport.
Last night provided another amazing contest (with a result to match - QLD winning 16 -14 w00t) and I was interested to see if any foreign viewers (existed, and) shared the same view.
If you havent seen this sport before, but are interested here's a link to
the league website

http://www.nrl.com/RepGames/StateofOrigin/tabid/182/Default.aspxIn Australia, Rugby League is one of the 4 codes of football Australians follow during the winter months (the others being Rugby Union, Australian Rules Football, and Soccer [Football]).
Let me know what you think
