I like the books.
I don't remember anything. Well, I do, but it's really vague. Like I was on drugs the whole time.

Thoughts:

Her accent is already annoying. I don't like Darwin's Obi-Wan "you must do what you think is right" moment. The dialogue sounds unnatural- the kind where instead of writing believable interaction, they just speak to the audience through the characters in a really ham-fisted way. Finally, too much letter writing, not enough explosions.

Prediction: 2/5
"I want truth for truth's sake, not for the applaud or approval of men. I would not reject truth because it is unpopular, nor accept error because it is popular. I should rather be right and stand alone than run with the multitude and be wrong." - C.S. DeFord

I don't like how all these depictions of Charles Darwin hail him some kind of revolutionist who came up with the theory of evolution of the species, when in reality the theory had already been around since the time of the ancient greeks. Charles Darwin was merely the first to collect a substantial amount of bone and fossil evidence to demonstrate it.

Why are they making this about religion?

Evolution doesn't disprove god, and it will turn people off before watching it.

No. But his works in geology and natural science pretty much condemn Genesis to the 'fiction' department and if genesis is just an overly poetic metaphor then what else can you trust in the Bible?

This has already been discussed, though in Christianity and Evolution.

After seeing that, I honestly have no desire to watch it.

Geologic evidence was put there by Jesus to trick us!
