As all EM waves are affected, less or more, you also have to take account of incredibly anisotropic, position and direction AND time dependant bendy light that is needed to explain all(Edit - it wouldn't explain at least one) seen by us contradictions in FET. I think that would cause radars to be completely unuseful.

No, if it is changing altitude and flying in a curve, it will appear to be flying straight to a radar.

Not quite right, most aero radars do detect altitude, by indirect means, transponder on most aircraft.
My I.Q. is 85. Or was it 58?
