What about it didn't? You wrote two sentences, as did I. My first sentence was in response to yours, my second was in response to your second. I just can't be arsed to quote-dissect.
No but I'm guess your what? 90? Cause you just so darn mature </sarcasm>

An adequately faked photo is nigh on indistinguishable from a real one, hence the discounting of all photos either way.

What appeal to ignorance? Can you see obvious marks of this being faked?

NO, THIS IS BULLSH*T.
Photographs are geometric evidence.

And? Can't refute it so you ignore it.
How proud are your parents of you?
How much do you earn?
DO you think the world doesn't realise you are just an insecure kid trying to be superior by 'knowing' something that the rest of the 'gullible' world doesn't?

Uh, no. ...And I can't see where sufficiently advanced software and talented graphics artists are unable to make a picture which is - using photogrammetry - indistinguishable from a real one.

What am I not understanding?

The problem is that you are not making any assertions about what the photo is or shows.

Christ this is like pulling nails.

I am asserting that the photo is fake, and that it shows nothing of any importance as a result of the original assertion.

Because if you have any knowledge of RS systems, you couldn't fake an image as you can't recreate the noise.

Watch the video - 70,000ft, the earth is quite clearly curved. This is on video, which rendering in is far far more complex, and technically there haven't been any examples of photo-realistic video-graphic rendering yet.

And none of you can possibly suggest someone like James May has been dragged into this conspiracy as well now can you...

How can I reply given that it doesn't make any sense as a question? Unless I'm missing something obvious and you were actually asking what was being faked looking for the answer to be "the image", and... Whatever you're actually looking for in the first one.

We cannot and shouldn't blindly trust that it is legit.

I can guarantee that this photo is fake (I made it myself). Can you tell? If so how?

What exactly are you supposed to be faking?  In other words, what is the nature of the deception that you are trying to put forward?

It's supposed to look like the sun and sky. There is nothing intentionally wrong with it meant to favor FE or RE. The deception is only that it is supposed to look real when it is not. My point is that it can be exceedingly hard to tell what images are faked or not.

It depends on what tools you have available.  Digital image forensics have been getting much more sophisticated over the last few years.
Quote from: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=digital-image-forensics
Over the past five years my students, colleagues and I, along with a small but growing number of other researchers, have developed an assortment of ways to detect tampering in digital images. Our approach in creating each tool starts with understanding what statistical or geometric properties of an image are disturbed by a particular kind of tampering. Then we develop a mathematical algorithm to uncover those irregularities. The boxes on the coming pages describe five such forensic techniques.

Curvature isn't visible from 30,000 feet. I've been to 45,000 feet on commercial flights and I've never seen any curvature to the earth.
You are aware that the most advanced commercial planes aren't legally allowed to go that high, right?

Concorde used to fly well above 30,000 feet. In fact it had a maximum cruise altitude of 60,000 feet.

What it's supposed to look like is defined by what we think it looks like, which is what the pictures tell us from the start. RE would look fake to us if NASA didn't show us lots of fake RE pictures and told us that they are real.

No his faked picture looks like the sun and the sky.
Just how an artists impression would.

I would like to see you fake the earth rise (very famous picture photographed by apollo 8 ) with the technology of the time. Or prove that it was a fake, remember there are also videos showing the earth rise too which definitely couln't have been faked at the time.

Remember Photoshop wasn't around 40 years ago.
