'falling' off the edge

I assume the dark energy accelerating the earth disc does not just accelerate the earth. If we were to reach the edge of the world, wouldn't we be accelerated upwards?

I posted a thread on the last page asking why noone has fallen off the edge of the earth.

None of the genius' on here have replied to it. I guess they don't have an answer for it.

Well it's a complex situation. It is not even decisive whether or not there is an edge. I'm just brain storming here.

And I don't take too kindly your rhetoric downplaying my peers. Just because someone has a different view on something doesn't make them stupid. I am a FE'er myself.

I believe the current UA theory states that yes if you jump off you would float next to the earth because you would be in direct contact with the UA. However, the UA is so incomplete in its description it's hard knowing exactly what would happen. The way I think of it is like this:

Imagine a fast flowing river. A very deep river a few miles wide. Now drop in a door and tilt it so the largest surface area of the door is catching the current. We would be standing on the side of the door opposite the push of the current, and the UA would be the current behind the door pushing forward.
Also imagine the river to be moving at the same speed on all sides.

This version falls down if you jump on one side of the door though. I still hold to that.

When your view violates the laws of physics, and NONE of your arguments make any logical sense, then yes it does.

What they believe isn't an opinion, it's a pile of shit.

I think this falling up phenomena could also be used to launch satellites. If you tied a satellite to a wire and chunked it off the edge, it would fall up until the wire is taught and it would stay there with out any man made energy source.

Shame that The Government is so stingy about revealing its' existence or our energy crisis would be solved.

Or perhaps, the energy crisis is a fabrication?

It could also be by the hand of Oil special interest lobbying congress...

While this theory is in fact correct in every sense, the sheer amount of force required to propel something into the spatial current would be equal to what civilization already uses to do just that; rocket based propulsion. If, however, you are referring to FET, then all of this would be completely debunked by the well known fact that the Earth is an infinite plane.
