How come only the FE'ers get their own board? Logic dictates that there should be a Round Earth Believers board, too. Sure, most of the world supports the RE theory, but still.

What would we talk about? How great the round earth is? Would we have to get college punks that like arguing contrarian logic to be mods?

Because they want a place where they can discuss their theory without having to defend it against the attacks of non-believers.

Probably if you want a forum where you can discuss RE theory without having to defend it against non-believers, www.theflatearthsociety.org is not the place to look for it.

I don't see how logic dictates anything of the sort.

Here comes the talent of reading people.
He probably meant that it would be more logic for RE'rs to have their own board, since there's more people who supports that theory. Quite logical. But of course, we wouldn't need a RE board since we already know that the Earth is round.

By that logic, the FEers don't need an FE board either, because they already know that the earth is flat...

This purpose of this forum is to discuss and debate the Flat Earth theory.  Having a separate Round Earth subforum doesn't seem in any way to execute that purpose.  If you're interested in sharing your thoughts on a non-Flat-Earth topic with the community here, I recommend either of the Alternative Science or Everything Else fora, as appropriate.

Edit: should have been "non-Flat-Earth"

Well, obviously they don't. I can't see any proofs either, but that's a different story.    Oh, dear...

How come? Of course, interested people would debate on such a forum, just as we do here. Only, that forum would not be a joke, and that's what would have been the difference.

Quite so, chaps.

The RE theory isn't a theory. It's true, and nobody can logically disprove it. :)

Firstly, just because something is true doesn't mean it's not a theory.

Secondly, don't you think you're begging the question, just a little?

This forum might as well be the RE forum.

Some flaws in the RE theory have been brought up in the time that I've been on these boards. I can't for the life of me remember what they were, but they have been brought up.
Who really needs one of these things?

It was a theory until it became proven science.

*sigh*

Sure, whatever.

You're obviously using definitions of "theory", "proof", and "science" that are never, ever used by scientists.

The "theory" of relativity is the best-"proven" theory ever in the history of "science", yet it's still called a "theory".

Number "theory" is a set of provably true statements, yet it's still a "theory".
