Perhaps you should learn the distinction between the words "to" and "too".

I'd to deeply her comment, if you know what I mean.
"I want truth for truth's sake, not for the applaud or approval of men. I would not reject truth because it is unpopular, nor accept error because it is popular. I should rather be right and stand alone than run with the multitude and be wrong." - C.S. DeFord

How so?  ???
If I was asked to imagine a perfect deity, I would never invent one that suffers from a multiple personality disorder. Christians get points for originality there.

Weakminded people need a superior action figure who will heal all there problems if you telepatically accept him as your master.

Also people are afraid of death so thay make up things that could help them overcome the fear.

imo;
Religion is useless bullcrap that the ancient church created so they could set new laws and fees to get more moneys. I dont see why it still excists. :/

People are naturally gullible.  They want to believe... so they do.  It's that simple.

If no one told me about God, I would never have believed in the first place.  I see no evidence, I feel no compulsion.  I have never observed a miracle, or any other occurrence unexplainable except through divinity.

Exactly, if we didn't have our parents or other authorty figures in our lives telling us what to think it would have never occured to us to believe in god as it is described in the bible, although you might ponder what 'energy' or whatever created the world in the first place.

I don't think there is a god and will remain agnostic unless I have proof otherwise, because I believe in science and there is no logic for me in the theory of creation and frankly I can't see the point in a god creating earth and man and then sitting back and watching us all kill each other, unless he's a sadist in which case I don't want to follow him anyway.

To all those that believe in some discrete, specific Supreme Being, why do you believe?

I used to believe in God, but only because I was raised to.  When I was about 14, I realized that there is no reason to believe in God.  If no one told me about God, I would never have believed in the first place.  I see no evidence, I feel no compulsion.  I have never observed a miracle, or any other occurrence unexplainable except through divinity.

So what would compel you to believe in God?

I'm sure you have seen a miracle you just deny it as such because you don't want to face it....

Why believe that something was a miracle. if someone survives an illness that was 1 million to one against would you call it a miracle? it isn't a miracle it is just statistics. if the odds are 1 to a million some people would still beat them. otherwise it would be a certain thing not just unlikely event.
