You don't need ANY resources for many realistic and useful experiments. How about watching the Sun set? Which theory predicts its time and location? Which theory says that you won't be able to see the silhouette of distant continents against the setting Sun? Which theory predicts the rising twilight (the shadow of the Earth against the opposite sky climbing from the horizon)? Which theory predicts that clouds and planes will still be illuminated by the Sun while where you stand will not be? Which theory predicts that the apparent size of the Sun will remain the same throughout the day? Which theory is more predictive and more useful? Which model is better?
