I read through the FAQ and one nagging point has escaped me. The entire thing was an attack on current science and a defense of flat-Earth theory. None of that is really relevant. The only question of any purpose is how this forum came to exist.
Since none of the beliefs shared by the forum members have any form of substantiated proof, the source material must be from a much smaller sample size of people -- possibly even just one person. Does that mean that the majority of believers are simply blindly following the words of one?
I guess my point is that it doesn't matter how outlandish the theory is, the fact that enough people now believe in it to justify a forum representing it means that something extremely abnormal occurred during its conception.
Is there any one that's able to take me through the chronology of events surrounding this forums origins? A guy wakes up one day, decides he doesn't think the Earth is flat. He creates a theory, posts it on the internet, and years later we end up here?
