If tomorrow was the end
« on: March 05, 2009, 07:38:39 AM »
What would you do?  Say that you know for certain that tomorrow you will die.  What would your reaction be?  Would you spend it with family or friends?  Maybe you'd go wild and party the night away, sleeping with whoever crosses your path.  Maybe you'd pray to your god(s) and make peace with them to ensure a spot in heaven.

Personally, this is a tough question for me.  Since one day isn't long enough to see my entire family, I'd probably spend it with my immediate family.  I'd also call everyone I care about and say my goodbyes.  I most likely would do everything I could not to fall asleep so there'd be plenty of energy drinks involved.
You think that a photograph is indisputable evidence?  Would you like me to show you a photograph of Barack Obama having sex with a gorilla?

If this turns into a baw-fest, I'm gonna take a big dump, all over your heads.

The LHC in Cern is due to be restarted soon, as soon as it is fired up to full capacity we are all doomed.

Sometime this year.
My I.Q. is 85. Or was it 58?

I started a thread out of curiousity for how people would react to the end of the road if they knew it was coming.  If people come in here and have a "baw-fest" that's their agenda.  I'm only making conversation about a topic I find interesting.

Find some way to get my wife back home or fly to Dubai or Kuwait and spend my last hours with her.  Not bawwing, but it's been almost a year since I have touched her skin or looked into her eyes.  She should be home in April though, so we are all good.  Woohoo!!!

Something stupid and/or dangerous. There is so much cool stuff I have read about how to do and if I have one day to live there is nothing to stop me. The only reason I have not tried anything yet is out of fear of hurting myself.

I have this little list of people....

The only reason they're still alive is because I'm not certain I wouldn't get caught.

Nah.  I would rather spend the night with Greeneyes, talking, laughing and loving than out slaughtering people, no matter how much they need it.

What, are you kidding?  If you go out and kill 26 people, they will catch you.  26 scenes, a million ways to make a mistake that IDs you...

You might get away with it once, or twice, but if you keep going, they will catch you.

No... I might could get away with that... between the area of my home town and my training, I could make 2/3 people disappear fairly easily.

But the whole list?  No way.

I would definitely party out for a little while, but not the whole time, it seems like a waste. I would definitely go skydiving at least once, I would kill a man just to see what it feels like. Then I would spend some time with the people I care about, and finally I would get laid as much as possible in between.

I'd go give a girl I love my first and only kiss, then I'd go home to the family. :D
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.

This.  I'd prefer to go out in a massive explosion or something.  At least that'd be a memorable death. ;D

Not if there's no-one left to remember.

I would go around individually beating up the inevitable surge of street preachers.

I'd buy some popcorn and a comfy chair, sit back and watch the shit go down. Hopefully the end would come in at least a mildly interesting fashion, like somebody just discovered SimCity 4's God Mode exists in the real world.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

I think I would enjoy watching the giant robot destroy the world. Or maybe the dinosaur one too.

I would commit violent crime. As many rapes and murders as possible, just to see what all the fuss is about.
