That doesn't make any sense at all. How can you "ban" philosophy? How can you not develop philosophy? We humans strive for truth, and that's what philosophy is about. Philosophy interprets science, business practices, politics, religion, ethics, reality, etc (jut about anything you can imagine).
Think about it, if people never had different opinions about things there wouldn't be any disagreements and then there'd never be war.
However, a Simple Subjectivist would contest that. There will be no disagreements if people have different opinions (at least, moral opinions).
Tom says, "abortion sucks".
Jill says, "abortion is good".
Since "abortion sucks" is true to Tom and "abortion is good" is true to Jill, and both Jill and Tom are infallible as a result, there is no disagreement.
