Go to "Antarctica", travel 100mies inland or so.
I don't remember anything. Well, I do, but it's really vague. Like I was on drugs the whole time.

I believe the earth is flat, because the government says its round. The Government is always lying to us, therefor the only logical conclusion is that it is flat.

The government also says that smoking is bad for you.

I reproduced the convexity experiments described in Earth Not a Globe across 12 miles of Lake Tahoe in California. By placing a telescope near the water's edge with the eye piece pointing up I was able to kneel down and observe the water splashing up on the on the opposite coast. If the earth were a globe with a circumference of 24,859.82 miles and a radius of 3963.17 miles there should have been a hill of water about 96 feet high in my way.

I did the same experiment observing the needles off the Isle of Wight from Highcliffe in the south coast of England.  The Needles are very large rocks rising out of the sea, which I guess were at one point part of the island.  From the cliff top, using binoculars or a telescope you can see a significant amount of darkly coloured rock at the base of the needles just above the water, but if you walk to the bottom of the cliff onto the beach, and look again, the dark rock is below the horizon.  The needles off the Isle of Wight are about 8 miles away if I remember correctly, maybe a little more.  I've done that a couple of times, the sea being pretty calm each time.

By walking downwards to a lower altitude you changed your perspective lines and brought the rock back into the vanishing point. If you actually had a telescope with you, instead of just pretending that you did, you could have restored the distant rock as outlined in the literature.

It really souds like you want the earth to be flat rather than believe it when you dismiss what other people  have to say so readily.  I didn't use a telescope, I used a good pair of binoculars, a pair more than adequate for that distance. I should have stated which one I actually used, fair enough, but I do believe that the argument you'd probably make that a telescope rather than decent binoculars 'would have made all the difference' is a load of crap. We're not exactly talking astronomical distances here, only about 8 miles.

i agree with you gazbcb. they are trying very hard to belive the earth is flat. the expirament you did was very thought out and more than evidance that the world has a curve to it which means it is round.

You guys are such losers, I cant believe that some people believe all of this. Ask yourself this if the world is flat then why does it take longer for a plane to go from America To London to go straight across the world then it does by circumnavigating the earth by going up to the north ... oh ya because the world is round and math even proves it. if you ever find the wall of ice i will nuke it. and if there really is the edge of the world I will jump off it. So if u can find me the edge I will jump.... This kinda site is why people see the US as idiots, maybe if you stopped going after beliefs that did not exist and got some exercise the US wouldn't be seen as fat and lazy, so accept the world isnt flat and get off your a$$ ;D

what is your logic that the earth is in fact flat and not round, which science and gravity can prove.

I seem Tombot still hasn't learnt what "peer review" means. Oh dear me.

Peer review is the independent verification, corroboration, and repetition of a study or work.

Let me know when any of NASA's missions are peer reviewed by an unconnected third party.
I doubt you even know what the fuck corroboration even means

Would you care to post the results of these experiments that you have done?

Sure. The earth is flat.
Are you FUCKING retarded?!

Just saying something has scientific credibility doesn't automatically make it credible. Why don't you find a real reason that proves the validity of your experiments.

I've already told you what makes an experiment or study credible and meaningful. It's called peer review.

Learn more.
Obviously, you haven't learned much about the universe and solar systems, so I really think you should learn more instead of sitting at your computer posting random shit about the Earth being flat because  obviously it isn't. Also, just by saying that an experiment/study is credible doesn't mean it fucking is, and come up with an actual reason...not just some random one bullshit word answer that doesn't explain shit.

Still, how do you know that these tests are valid scientific proof?

Because they are very easily reproducible and many people have reproduced them, including myself.

You can reproduce your tests all you want, still doesn't make the so claimed "outcome" true.

I've seen this all before folks, these people here are suffering from a disorder called Delusions of Grandure.

They like to think the whole world has been fooled, and their the only ones who've figured it all out.

These people have mental dissorders, and should be left to their so called "studies" and such.
