Why do you believe that the earth is flat?

OK, now will you tell us exactly which experiments you reproduced and how they showed the earth to be flat?

Tom, if you really want us to believe your experiments are valid. Why don't you film yourself conducting them and then show us.

I reproduced the convexity experiments described in Earth Not a Globe across 15 miles of Lake Toronto. By placing a telescope near the waters edge with the eye piece pointing up I was able to kneel down and observe the water splashing up on the on the opposite coast. If the earth were a globe there should have been a hill of water over a hundred feet high in my way. There wasn't.

But yes I have read some of the stuff that you have as proof and yes I have yet to become convinced that the world is flat. If you give me proof, not documents of experiments and theories (I mean you Tom), then I might have a second opinion over a round Earth.

As with the conspiracy, I have a hard time believing that all the world governments (or most of them) could be this controlling, and for a flat Earth to be kept secret for over 200 years and no clues ever slipped by politicians or amatures discovering something, I just have a hard time believing that the world could be flat.

Uh, documentation of experiments and peer reviews of experiments is proof.

That's probably what they said when they said that blacks were inferior to whites, but it turned out that blacks and whites were equal! 

If the earth is flat,  it must have edges. ends where you couldn`t pass.

so if you think the earth is flat, you must start a trip around the earth always in the same directions, and you will realize that you will get your initial positions, this is imposible if the earth was flat.

The ends of the earth are the great ice wall.

It would be nice for a change to see Tom actaully say something original for once, and not repeating text... *sigh* but unfortunatly he has yet to prove anything to us, just to same old ranting over and over...

But you do enjoy showing off your beliefes and documents you have found, so you do take pride in being a FE'er.

Tell me Tom, just wondering, did you ever believe the Earth was round? I'm just curious that's all.

At one point I believed that the earth was round. But once I saw the overwhelming evidence that it was not my opinion changed.

What led you to the evidence? I mean, did you just one day decide to question the earth being round?
