Yachtsmen, Bicyclists, Walkers, Drivers, Fugitives from the Law (I'm thinking Paul Francis Gadd here). Are they all liars? This thought has plagued me somewhat and gives me doubts as to the flatness of the globe.

Sir Francis Chichester - did he just sail around the Isle of Wight until he got dizzy or what?

Don't be silly. You can drive around a car park (so long as its design has been well thought through), but it doesn't mean it's round.

So is the Globe Vendee round the world yacht race just all made up by Disney Channel.  What about that bird that has been sending dispatches - she's a bit of a looker.

Ah good point. So these people go around the edges then. It must be dangerous. What stops them from falling off?

A bit like the ticket you have, you will either turn left or right.

Magnetic force shield above the ice wall prevents the plane from flying over the edge.

Ar you sure, I set off on Monday and I don't want to disappear beyond the ice wall.  I have a song ready though, in case we head off into the unknown, its a rousing Coptic Welsh version of Onward Christian Soldiers - I think that will protect me in case you are wrong.

Tell me, then, how does this date line thing work and will I feel a bump when I cross it?  What does it look like and is it like a library where you get a time to return by?

No. Why would it be? Is it possible you couldn't understand the basic language of the FAQ?

More water (from melted ice wall) means that there can be more molecules split into Oxygen, which is good. We want the Ice Wall to melt a lot more then it already is. Otherwise would would not have all this air to breath in! How else would we live?

Surely if there's no Ice Wall, all the seas and oceans will just pour over the edge of the earth though, leaving us with practically no water at all?

Almost correct! But not quite. What is beyond the Ice Wall, is ANOTHER Ice Wall!

Prove me wrong, or you suck.

Its quite easy to make ICE. Go on youtube and they even tell you how. Just don't record your self doing it, otherwise the cops might get a hold of it and you'll be in a lot of trouble.

When scientists bang on about climate change, why don't they ever mention the erosion of the ICe Wall? Surely, this should be brought into the public domain? I'm scared at this news.

I have another question about around the world travel. I once went from merry old England to New Zealand, via Singapore, then from New Zealand back to England via the US. How does this work? I thought i'd gone around the world. Was I wrong to think this?

What is climate change? Show me how our climate is changing compared to what has been happening for the past 4 million years on our earth (photos or it didn't happen). And your second question, it is SO possible to do that on any shaped earth. Do you think you DIDN'T go around the world? (evidence/proof or it didn't happen).

Even if the Ice wall melted, some people say that it is not an ICE WALL, but mountains that circle the earth, and this mountain range that encircles the planet (no proof) just happens to have ice and snow on it. So its really an 'Earth Wall', not an Ice wall.

I play guitar and Flange is one of the effects I use, what exactly do you mean by Rock Flange? Nub?

A flange is a protecting rim, my friend.

Do you like EMO music? You should come over to mine after I've given dear old mum her medicine and we can listen to The Black Parade in my cellar room.

I have no idea what the black parade is, or what you're talking about, but im sure you love it. I also hope your mum doesn't die of the medicine you give her. What is it? You should tell me because I can probably tell you how much you should give her (seeing as you are only 11 years old).

But once again, I use a Flange effect pedal when I play guitar and it makes my guitar work sounds awesome!

My main ingredient is the WAH-WAH pedal though. Oh, I could NOT live without this one!

In FET, the earth is roughly a circular disc. Now ask yourself: can you draw one circle within another circle? The answer of course is yes. Thus, one can travel 'around' the disc.
