Yes.  People cannot be trusted with guns for any reason.  If the population is not armed, then there are less guns in the hands of criminals.  As a result there will be less violent crime

Not really. Considering the vast amounts of issues one could argue, I would say everyone on this site has at least one stance I agree with. The Earth is flat, though, and Sokarul will have to come to terms with that eventually.

Let's address this issue backwards. Let's say that a new drug is invented. It causes dopamine rushes comparable to meth, but without the side effects. Unfortunately, it occasionally causes death rays to shoot uncontrollably from some people's eyes. This does not adversely affect you, but it kills anyone they touch unless they also are users of this drug, who have a 50% survival rate. Should the drug be legal?

Dumb comparison.

Lets say the street in front of your house has a speed limit of 35 miles an hour. Highschool kids are caught driving down your street at 70 mph.  Should the speed limit be lowered to 25 mph to stop kids driving down the street at 70 mph?

That is such a terrible analogy that I'm not even sure if it deserves to be called an analogy at all.

Lets say the street in front of your house has a speed limit of 35 miles an hour. Highschool kids are caught driving down your street at 70 mph.  Should the speed limit be lowered to 25 mph to stop kids driving down the street at 70 mph?

I wrote that badly. I meant to add in that it only caused death rays if you misused it. If you use it responsibly you're fine.

The argument is that gun control doesn't work and is against the constitution and makes it more difficult to defend yourself.

If you really believe the only thing you'll be able to shoot if you were handed an AR15 were people or animals, then it's probably a good thing you don't have one.

Perhaps you are in need of some of that mental healthcare.

The purpose of an AR15 is to fire bullets.  I use mine for inanimate targets.  What would you use one for?
