God this forum makes me laugh so much, the "Evidence" is what you would expect a ten year old to say!
Like a "conspiracy" like this could ever be pulled off, over all the years im sure an insider would have told the media, since it would be the biggest story ever.
And why? How is money involved by saying the world is flat when its round? =S Would cost alot more to pull the lie off.

And not to mention the fact that millions have already travelled across the world in THIER OWN PRIVATE JETS, yes going around in a full circle, dont even get me started on this ice wall crap becuase a four year old could come up with something better than that.
Also why do they do so many public space flights? Maybe just for the rich now, but thier making it fully public soon. So why would NASA risk sending people into space? IF theve managed to make a huge lie about the shape of the earth im sure they could make people belive that people cant go into space for some reason.

that repeat every 24 hours or so.  If the Earth were flat, then there
would be no tides, because the tides depend on their being a
substantial distance between the near and far sides of the Earth, from
the point of view of the Moon.

You can launch a rocket to a high altitude and take pictures of the earth (which various government agencies and private groups have already done thousands of times in the past), but that isn't the most practical way. Pictures and videos taken by orbiting satellites and space stations are certainly the most definitive proof that the earth is a sphere.

Given that from the orbit of the space shuttle, you only see a small fraction of the Earth, a flat earth with a circular horizon due to the spotlight sun would mimic a round earth.

Well surely you need some evidence to prove you theory, this would be a good start.

Firstly dismissing the funding as unimportant is absurd, A space shuttle alone costs 1.7 billion US dollars Granted that assuming the existence of the conspiracy NASA is suspect but nevertheless it would definitely be costly. In addition we'd need to, fuel the shuttle, secure a launch site, outfit the crews etc The Society doesn't have the resources, so this scenario essentially impossible. (If you'd like to continue advocating for it I'm curious to find out how much your prepared to donate to the FES to help us build our own space program)

Also I fail to see the logic behind  why the FES is needs to build/secure its own rocket ship

Who would it convince? The FE's already know the Earth is flat, and any evidence gathered by the rocket ship would be completly open to the same arguments used by FE's to dismiss current rocket ship evidence, and to bring up vast amounts of people raises the cost prohibitive issue even more, since no gov has been able  to create a mass space program.(or claims to be able if you assume the existence of the conspiracy, but considering the vast amounts of fuel and gear involved I suspect that even assuming spce mission costs are inflated it would still be far beyond the Society's resources)

They could not have possibly made more money than they've put into it. Also, do you think that landing on the moon was a hoax to, and all of the research done in space?  I just can't figure out why people would think the earth is flat. I haven't read into it but how would ships and planes just not fall right off? Please answer or send link to answer.

I apologize for my choice of words, and you have given a valid point and I applaud you on that.

first, all your answers are in the FAQ.

second, they did not put money into anything. they are basically handed money by the people that buy into it...
space flight is impossible, so yes all assumed space endevors are hoaxes.
lastly, see the FE map in the FAQ for information about ships falling off.

Also, one more thing, it's probably in the FAQ  but I can't force myself to read that load of nonsense, why when you fly west to east or east to west you end up back where you came from? If the "ice wall" is real then you would still be flying OUT into space. I just can't wrap my head around the idea. you need to see the flat earth map, otherwise it make no sense. flying magnetic south constantly is the only problem.
as far as what is underneath, it is unknown. something very strong and dense would be needed to withstand the UA.

In FET the earth is laid out like the flag of the United Nations, with the north pole in the center and the ice wall (southern barrier) on the outside.  When you travel east or west you're not really going in a straight line but rather in a concentric circle around the north pole (this is true in RE too; picture yourself walking due east starting twenty feet from the north pole until you reach your starting point; did you just walk in a straight line or a circle?).  The only way to reach the ice wall is by traveling in a southern direction.

We've never seen what's under the earth so we have no way of knowing what's there.

I would love to be able to send the biggest supporter of flat earth into space to show him/her wrong but I don't have that power. I would also like to meet whoever said that gravity is a myth because they have some explaining to do with that sort of statement. That's like me saying people don't need oxygen and just leaving it at that. Scientific steps are needed.
