I used to have a Sanyo PM-8200 with Sprint, then I switched to Verzion with my LG VX-8500, which is the best model of that line of phones.

I am going to be purchasing an iPhone 3G on AT&T for the unlimited data and texting plans. They are cheap and I used texting more than I do actual phone calls, and they offer unlimited data and text on any plan. I am just happy that I won't have to deal with ROGERS like the Canadian's do and get shafted every which way.

Currently a Samsung M520. Its a nice phone...Supposed to have themes, but they gave up on that or something. Assholes.

SPRINT

SUCKS

btw.

The next phone I get will be an iPhone 3g. I dont care what anyone says, I held a running one at bestbuy just yesterday and its the SHIZZ.

Unless of course, by the next time I get a phone that crazy concept thing becomes reality (forgot whats its called)

I agree that Sprint sucks. Verizon's network is better, but they hide a lot of shit in the contract, and they limit the phones with their shitty firmware, crippling many features of the phone that it would be able to use with it's original firmware. Many people are unaware that Verizon does this.

I have an iPod touch, which is not much different from the iPhone at all, and I love my iPod, and I love the 3G. The people that write the articles about it are such idiots too. Plus, I paid more for my iPod touch 1st Gen, and the 3G is still cheaper than it and the new iPod touch 2nd Gen. More than worth a trade in. Plus having the original firmware is fantastic, and then jailbreaking it to make it better is awesome. I do that with my iPod touch, and it's the best handheld device ever. Free GPS, 3G, and unlimited data make the iPhone 3G the best choice for me. And it's sexy as hell. Girls love my iPod touch. ::)

I'll take a device that works on all OS's versus one that doesn't. Yes, my iPod touch works on GNU/Linux. :P

And I'll take the device that truly works on all OSes with MSC support and plays FLAC and OGG files, the ultra-popular Sansa Clip...

I like preserving storage space, thanks. Allows for more pictures and videos and other important things. Music isn't THAT important that I need 27MB per song on average.

Ogg files compare favorably to MP3s. FLAC files compare favorably to WAVs.

Ogg is a container, MP3 is a codec. You can't compare the two, n00b.

Since we are talking about compressed music it can be reasonably assumed that I am talking about Ogg vorbis. Even wikipedia states this....

Why can't you be talking about Ogg FLAC?
1. Because flac was mentioned in a comparison to WAV files.
2. Because usually FLAC files have a different extension to differentiate between the 2.

1. Because flac was mentioned in a comparison to WAV files.
2. Because usually FLAC files have a different extension to differentiate between the 2.

The extension has nothing to do with it. For instance, when people refer to APE files, I know they have no clue what they're talking about. Vorbis, Speex, Theora and FLAC all use the Ogg container from time to time, so to speak of something as being encoded as "Ogg" is highly ambiguous.
