Do FEers beleive in global warming?

I am intrigued to know if man-made Glbal Warming is a theory accepted by FEers.

I believe that man-made global warming is just as likely to exist in FE as in RE.

So are you not concerned that the ice walls at the edge of the disc will melt and the oceans and atmolayer fall off the edge?

Lordypieman

Well, considering that the ice wall has survived other periods of massive climate change in our planet's history, I don't think it's something to worry about.  I don't believe the ice wall is holding in the atmolayer anyway.

Do you not beleive that the rate of global warming which has been observed over the last 20 years is extreme? Extreme trends (especially over over such a long period) will lead to extreme effects. Possibly even melting of the icewall.

Lordypieman

p.s. I have read in the forum FAQs that the icewalls hold the atmolayer inplace. If this is not correct, then I'd like to know what does.

Extreme compared to other periods of climate change the earth has gone through?  No.

Assumedly the DEF holds it in place.  It may be a consequence of the same bowshock effect that keeps the heavens accelerating above us.

I am concerned about the stability of the icewalls. The melting of polar ice will lead to sea level rises - puttin extra pressure on the icewalls. Also the warming of the atmolayer will lead to thawing of the icewalls

Both of these forces together could be the tipping point, and the oceans could leak over the side.

I don't understand the bow-shock effect.

Explain how it managed to not melt all these millions of trillions of zillions of years, please.
Read the FAQS.

I can only think that the icewalls have not melted because the edges of the disc are cooled by the very cold vacuum of space - whereas the inner parts of the disc are warmed by the sun and the lava within.
But there have not been enough measurements for us to know whether global warming could be a trigger for the rim icewall to melt. If that were to happen the global recession would be insignificant.

Can someone explain to me where the two polar ice caps are on the Flat Earth? I don't quite understans.

The earth is flat, so it would be planar warming.
I don't remember anything. Well, I do, but it's really vague. Like I was on drugs the whole time.

Assumedly the DEF holds it [the atmolayer] in place.

Actually the DEF doesn't hold anything in place. Quite the opposite.

The DEF holds our massive accelerating atmolayer and any object that has mass (less than the atmolayer's) in place.

FET: The earth is heated from beneath and trapped by greenhouse gases which causes global warming.
RET: The earth is heated by the sun which is diminished by the greenhouse gases trapping the heat outside of earth causing global cooling.

So yeah, we believe in global warming.

But more importantly, why do RE'ers?

I find it amusing when people say its the hottest year in history or something like that since recording temperatures is a pretty damn recent thing.
