proof of round earth

1. when i am at a beach, i can see a gently curve in the horizon, and ships disappear beyond the horizon.

2. About a year ago, the moon turned red, this was caused by the sun being on one side of the earth and the moon on the opposite side

3. If the sun and moon are at the same height, how can eclipses occur?

4. If we are accelerating up, wouldn't we reach the speed of light? wouldn't planes crash into the ground, as they are not being pushed up by some uber powerful force that can infinitely increase the speed of the earth forever without ever stopping.

And, what is causing this force? if would need to be damn powerful, and a constant accelerating speed that never fluctuates?

1. See Earth Not a Globe for a walkthrough on perspective.
2. Red coloring is a byproduct of atmosphere interference regardless of the light source. The angle of the light into the atmosphere is the main factor which consequently determines the amount of atmosphere the light has to penetrate to reach your eyes.
3. I'm not sure of the current theory. Either they are slightly different, or search 'shadow object',
4. Relativity explains how the speed of light cannot be surpassed even if local reference frames experience constant acceleration. Time for something traveling 'very' fast, is slower than time experienced by a more passive object.
5. What causes gravity? --A seemingly endless power source RE depends very heavily on that also does not fluctuate.
6. The expansion of the universe is acknowledged in both models and, dark energy is believed to be the source of our acceleration.

If I was asked to imagine a perfect deity, I would never invent one that suffers from a multiple personality disorder. Christians get points for originality there.
