Greek Mythology.   ;D
You think that a photograph is indisputable evidence?  Would you like me to show you a photograph of Barack Obama having sex with a gorilla?

Benocrates, suppose now you have a son but your claiming that you love God the Most. What would bother you more, if someone insulted your Son or insulted your god? naturally what will bother them most is when some insulting what the human loves most. Our friend said he hate because of the reasons even though most Christians claims they love god most yet they are the ones who insulting God the Most
In the Bible Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son for God. Would you sacrifice your son for God?

Saddam jumps in:

Fine if you say catholics are Christians then that is fine with me. It is just that I don't think that Religion is something that should be governed over by other men. I am not currently attending church because I can't find one I like enough to become a member of. Religion is a personal thing. And I would never criticize someone for their beliefs like what happens to me all the time here. I obviously wish that people would agree with me (who doesn't) but if they don't it isn't a big deal.

So what exactly is all this?

I hate it when someone is Catholic and claim to be Christian. You are not! you are catholic!
Christians get a bad name because of catholics. Even in present day, the catholics are known for their corruption.
Parents can't even leave their kids alone with a priest!
So please don't think that Christians and Catholics are the same
because they are not

That sounds extremely critical to me.  Yes, there have been priests molesting kids, but do you honestly think that "parents can't leave their kids alone with a priest" is fair to all Catholics?

LOL.  Would you?  I think that's absolutely ridiculous.  If God or Allah ever asked me to sacrifice someone, I'd tel him/her/it to do it themselves.

Which is better, Egyptian mythology or Greek mythology?

See how stupid that is?

They know only the outer part of the life of this world, and of the Hereafter they are utterly unmindful. Do they not reflect within themselves that ALLAH has not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two but in accordance with the requirements of wisdom and for a fixed term ? But many among men believe not in the meeting with their Lord.

And, truly, WE have set forth for men in this Qur'an every type of parable, and indeed, if thou bring them a Sign, those who disbelieve will, surely, say, `You are but liars.'

I don't know, man. Greek mythology had hermes, with the superspeed and Boots of Flight +1, but egyptian Gods had those cool animal heads, and that one godess who drenched the entire countryside with blood because she was a little irritated. It's a tie, I think.
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.

Shouldn't an intelligent human who believe in One Almighty God hate Christians for insulting the "Almighty God" by many of their false claims about Almighty God.
No, if they are intelligent, they would be christians.

Remember what we said about not posting scripture when debating with an atheist?  It adds nothing to the discussion.

You forgot symbols.  We get the Eye of Horus, the Eye of Ra, and the Ankh from Egyptian mythology, but none of the Greek symbols survived.  That might tip the scales a bit, I think.

You've got a point about the whole faith and religion thing. But what I meant about being criticized
is that I get called stupid and delusional for my faith. I meant that I would not call someone names
or attempt to put them down for their faith.

If you just want to talk to a bunch of people who will agree with you, then go here http://bibleforums.org/forum/
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Protestant and Catholic would be the comparison not Catholic and Christian.

Now many have said the Catholicism has been around longer than Christianity which is just not true. It has been around longer than Protestantism for obvioius reasons.

The early Apostles claimed a following of Christ which would be in line with Christianity. Catholism took more of a governmental approach to the religion.
