.doc file help
« on: May 18, 2011, 01:55:15 AM »
I created a .doc file at home on OpenOffice and came to print it out at work only to be told that "word cannot start the converter mswrd632.wpc."

Anybody got any advice or think they could convert it to a readable format, like pdf?

Install LibreOffice at work. Failing that, send me the file and I'll convert it.

I would install it if I could, unfortunately our office is still a believer in the infallibility of Windows .

Cheers, I'll send you the file through. Is the address the one in your profile?

You could just save it as a RTF.

Did that come from the original file saved as an rtf(rich text format)?
