India has 1.4 active military troops.

That doesn't sound like a very powerful army.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

Yes, total and active are two different things.  See, in the english language, different words have different meanings.  They don't just get to mean whatever you want them to for a specific usage.  As I pointed out, India has 1.4 active military troops.
You're not following, are you? You just said China could field 1,000,000 men within 6 months. I said they already have 2.25 million active troops. You replied with "1.4 million active troops from wikipedia".

I'm addressing that.

It's not, if you read my post, you'll notice that I pointed out that the online sources are a bit outdated.  The one you linked, for example, shows an update on October 9, but is referencing information from the nuclear bulletin here: http://thebulletin.metapress.com/content/hh405772860642u7/fulltext.pdf , which is only accurate to 1999.  We have dismantled thousands of missiles since then, but I forgot all about the stockpile.

The information regarding China's armaments is also outdated, and they have been steadily producing while we have been steadily destroying.
Outdated? My source shows the 2008 report.

If you count reserve, inactive missiles and warheads, etc., It appears we still have more missiles than China.  Active missiles seem to be about equal.
No, not about equal.

Wow, Tom, this is some silly shit!  Do you really believe the crap in bold?  You do realize that within six months, China could field an army of nearly 1,000,000 men?  That India has nearly twice as many nuclear weapons as either the US or Russia, or that a platoon of Israeli soldiers could likely defeat 5 or 6 platoons of American forces?  Do you realize that there are more Blackwater, Inc. mercenaries on the ground in Iraq than there are American Troops?

I don't care how big of an army China could raise in a month. It doesn't mean anything if all they have are sticks and stones to bludgeon us with. If China went to war with the US there's no way they could get their army over here to swarm us with their only asset. China doesn't have a navy of any significance. The only way they'd have a chance is to march across the ice bridge which connects Russia to Alaska. Without adequate protection many would freeze to death.

In such a skirmish US would have a constant barrage of missiles homed in on the bridge to stem the tide and then a few strategic missiles delivered to Hong Kong and their lackluster military bases to be done with them.

If we can bankrupt a country with the stroke of a pen, why did we need to invade Iraq after years of economic sanctions?

The US embargoes put on Iraq in the 90's bankrupted Iraq's economy and destroyed the nation's basic industries. Iraq has been hardly prosperous over the last two decades since then. This latest military incursion into its lands is just the final shot to end the pain of a wounded animal.

Which links conveniently to Ms Palin's "foreign policy experience".  I knew she'd come in useful!

Also, regarding "freezing to death".  I'm sure they'd wear warm coats.  Underestimating China's thermal underwear potential is foolish in the extreme.
I haven't performed it and I've never claimed to. I've have trouble being in two places at the same time.

Ever heard of the Port of Long Beach?  China could easily move up to 160,000 troops per day onto US soil through our own harbor, which Billary sold to them several years ago.  The port processes, on average, 19,900 20-foot containers (TEUs) each day, with each able to hold nearly 100 men with gear.

This is all beside the point.  The point is that no matter what propaganda you have chosen to buy into, the US is in many ways less powerful than it tries to make itself out to be.  We are certainly not the state-crushing machine your gung-ho patriotism deludes you into believing.  Stop watching Fox and Freinds, and take in a BBC World News Broadcast now and again.

Troops marching across the land-bridge, LOL.  Where does he come up with this stuff?

Don't worry, if Obama wins, Palin can keep the russians from invading... Alaska. LOL.

China is currently researching blue-water navy. Maybe some day in the future they can transport troops across the Pacific Ocean via navy. It's true that their power projection is very limited. The Americans, having the most powerful navy right now, pretty much dominates the whole Pacific Ocean.

My source, is the intelligence briefings I got over there every day when I was flying missions into Tikrit and Bahgdad and Irbil and Mosul and Fallujah.  We had to know where those dudes were so as not to have blue on blue incidents.

You show yours first.  You've already been called on your missile information being incorrect.  I think we already know where this one is going.

Don't forget the Atlantic, we dominate that too.

So china will be ready to start moving people out in what, 20 years then?

And how long ago was this?  The US currently has right around 122k troops in Iraq.  This is up from a year or so ago.  Estimates of Blackwater personell in country vary dramatically, from 44,000 through nearly 200,000.  The numbers I put the most faith in say around 135,000 operatives.  This is debatable, but not winnable, since neither Blackwater nor the US government feels inclined to disclose accurate numbers for obvious reasons.

Left wing?  Are you high?  I make Newt look like Mao.  I am so far to the right of the average republican, they think I'm religious.  If I had my way, Welfare, Social Security, Farm Entitlements, all National Endowments, etc. would be phased out ASAP  They are socialist constructs.  If I had my way, every citizen would have a mandatory military stint at 18, and the currently fielded Assault Rifle in thier closet, Israeli/Switzerland style.  The Presidential term would be three years, with only one term allowed, and the congresspeople would get 5 years.  All holders of federal political office would be required to maintain gainful employment, and no one would be allowed to serve in more than one capacity in their lifetime.  That means if you run successfully for the House, you're out in four, and can never hold another federal political position again.  Campaign spending would be limited to around $50,000 for congressional races, and $200,000 for the presidential race.

Now then, I didn't post a link because I looked at about 6, and they were all quite different.  Look for yourself, there is no authority on the subject, the actual numbers are classified.  That's why it's not debatable, there is no good evidence either way.
