Peoples reaction to 1 = 0.99... is amusing! Why is it such an alien concept that the same number can be written multiple ways? Think 1/2 = 2/4 if you doubt that there are multiple ways to represent the same number ...

"think harder homer." :)

Nice try but you fail, troll boy.
Yes, quite.  No one would ever claim to be someone they're not in their profile name.

When you say people, you mean the average American. The reason behind that is the same as the one for believing that North Korea is the whole island of Australia and South Korea is Tasmania.

If this was a logical jump for the human brain then yes. It is not logical though. It is not about multiple representations but about a calculus concept.

I think it is hilarious that people think electrons go around the nucleus in circles, I mean that's like thinking lamps suck up dark.

Sorry I'm pissed right now and that makes my humor tend to fail. Some fucking nigger decided to talk about my dead friend and won't balls up and say it to my face.

I called him a nigger and said do something about it.

Yes. I don't call black people that normally but he qualifies for nigger status.

No they exist in orbitals. Look up electron orbitals and you will see pretty diagrams.

Not precisely. Even that is far to simplistic a model. Electrons don't really "orbit", they aren't really well defined particles. They actually behave as a wave and a particle, and can actually bend around objects, diffract, refract, and so on. Really incredible stuff, but at any rate, it is impossible to know both the position and the velocity of an electron(HUP), and no, that's not due to the observer effect.
Proof the Earth is round!

Yes. Hence they "exist" in orbitals. The area they are most likely to be in is the orbital. Though there is a chance the electron could be anywhere.
