Heya, a few questions..
« on: September 21, 2008, 10:53:08 AM »
Hello, I am an REer, I was really wondering how you came to this idea, it is by no doubt interesting.  I would also be interested into how to would explain a few of these question..I am not trying to say your views are wrong because I intend to fully respect them.  I am purely interested in your argument for these questions.

For one, how do we have a horizon if the Earth is flat? And the other is why do we get Night and Day, surely there shouldnt really be night and day if we were flat.

We aren't flat. The Earth is, though.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

Good points there you have in the words you wrote.

Thhink about this new person, if the world was round, then sure the chinks would all just fall up (or down whichever way you look at it).
I mean we are standing, and so are they. But if you look at the "alleged" round earth, they would be somewhere underneath us so all the people, and they're things would go flying out to space.

I threw a bouncy ball awhile ago, and it bounced up and down. not around and around like a fucking roundabout. Earth is flat

The world is round, but luckily the people who live on the bottom have developed really strong feet with long toes that can cling on for dear life.

Well thats why Sir Issac Newton discovered gravity, so I mean my point still stands.

He did not discover gravity; he assumed there is something that causes the apple to fall down. He called it "gravity", and went on to theorize it with explanations that were later debunked by Einstein's general theory of relativity.

I love people who come here with only a basic understanding of newtonian physics.
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.
