Also you fail. You can't prove the equation without the numbers. IE the math part.
Once again, you're confusing applied and pure maths. A pure proof can be accomplished without any numbers at all, since a pure proof could merely be relational based on fundamental theory.
The proof you're talking about: taking a mathematically described theory and plugging in real world numbers to test it's veracity
The proof you're forgetting exists: building a relational model of variables from first principles with supporting pure proofs
For the first case, you're absolutely right. You cannot verify a physical theory without experimental evidence.
For the second case, you are mistaken - it is perfectly valid to have a mathematical proof without any use of numbers whatsoever.
