Unless this is a joke, well if it is, than bravo
, and if its not, then explain me this. lol... I'm going to be a REAL WORLD, WHERE THE EARTH IS ROUND, pilot, but I've already got a fair knowledge about aviation. Here's a few questions for ya flatters... #1 on a flight, say, London to new york, the plane flys at higher latitudes, as we all know, or at least the people who haven't drank, as the earth is round, the distance betwen two points is smaller on a higher latitude than flying over the equator. Actually, some planes, depending on weight and other operational restrictions, can't fly from new york to london if they didn't when on that particular latitude. How do you explain this? #2 How do planes fly from sydney to los angeles all the way over the ocean, and still land whith fuel? #3 how do you explain the Singapore-new york route, that goes right over the north pole, or near to it? #3 what about that anual flight operated by qantas IIRC over the south pole? #4 if the earth is flat, why can't I see my destination airport shortly after reaching cruise?
uhhm.....
