It definitely does work differently (the key to being UNIX certified). I had to make a volume bootable, so I loaded up the installation DVD, and ran through terminal. I knew the custom script was located in /usr/misc/, so I typed /usr/misc/script.sh Leopard (I needed to include the target volume because otherwise the script errors out), and it didn't work. So I manually cd'd to the directory, and then ran script.sh Leopard, and again, it errored out. Then I tried ./script.sh Leopard, and it worked.

That sounds like a very inefficient way of doing things.

Another victory for Linux FE!

It's less error prone and it's permission based. Security and stability FTW.

And while we're at it, we can change the English text books because you don't believe in grammar.

the earth is far more older that that.  Scientists have proven the earth is much older, like millions to billions.

Maybe God created it so that it LOOKED older, with fossils already carefully arranged in the ground. Kind of like when you get a new pair of blue jeans and they already have holes in the knees.

Makes sense, right?

Clever,
but if "god" put that stuff there, why would he make them in the first place? in making them he is making people believe the earth is really old. It seems that "god" would just not put them there and make no evidence for people to believe of his nonexistence?

Sure, but what evidence do you have to believe such a theory?

The fact that there are fossils and the world looks more than 6000 years old and the Bible is the infallible word of God.  Duh.

That's not evidence.  Evidence is things you can see with your own eyes and show other people.  You can see that the world appears to be older than 6000 years old and show that to other people.  You can see the Bible and show it to other people.  You cannot see the bible is true and you cannot show that the bible is true to other people.  If you can do this last part, please show me.

You're entitled to believe whatever you want, no matter how illogical.  I'm just explaining why an objective rational person wouldn't have those beliefs.

Well, it doesn't matter.  You're wrong, and that's all that matters.  I know where I'm going when I die and you don't.  Therefore we can logically conclude that faith is much stronger than science.  You seem nice though so I'll pray that you come to your senses and learn to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, like I have.  :)

Maybe we should just conform to the radical muslims and that way they wouldn't have a reason to not like us.

Well, why do they put holes in brand new jeans? I buy Levi's because I want my new jeans to actually look new, thank you very much.

Maybe God just has a different sense of aesthetics than we do. Maybe the fossils are in place to ensure us a good supply of crude oil. Who knows?

Not at all. I was recently talking to God, the other day, when he mentioned that he created the earth in HIS image, specifically because satan's retarted. This is suggested by the theory of science, create by Albert Einstein, a good, dead friend of mine. Furthermore, why would Jesus put fossil fuels into the earth, when, according to scripture, the Earth is a giant turtle. This could only lead to further deaths in the hundred year war. Lastly, you haven't a clue as to how the proper response to a fully functional human being ought to coagulate against all other proper nonresponsive beings, of any other sort, which are not run by chemicals within the brain - thus prooving my theory.
