If the earth was flat the moon would be a new moon for about 15 days and 15 days it would be a full moon.

You FE'ers are masters at deflecting questions, give me a straight answer to the question the OP posted.

What evidence made you believe the earth is flat?

Solid modern scientific evidence, unbiased by religeon or assumptions.
Listening to the FE'ers try to disprove this is like watching a train derailment in slow motion...

To all FEer's

At one point in your life you would have been exposed to something that made you say 'Damn you are right, the world is flat!!'

What was that?

I saw with my own eyes (aided by binoculars, of course) that a watercraft's hull did not disappear before it's mast did.

Why? According to RET, an object at a distance s (in statute miles) can be seen if i has height h (in feet) not less than h = 2*s2/3. A small boat has height not greater than 6 feet. Therefore, it should disappear after 3 miles for a person looking straight from the surface of the water. If the person is also 6 feet high, than we would need 3 more miles before the boat dissappears. 6 miles is a distance that is possible on many lakes.

The FES has been toiling for many years to reveal a deep conspiracy at the heart of modern civilisation.  I find these efforts admirable, so I paid attention. Their accumulated evidence is what convinced me that FES was something worth sticking with.

So in other words, your a fucking idiot?

You really should read more carefully. Thanks Osama for the compliment, but even if I was a total retard it would not alter the fact that I didn't, at any point, say that FET was worth sticking with, but that FES was.

lrn2read, kthxbi

A film was an influence, but it's way way waaaaay better than any of the Matrix trilogy.  Extra brownie points if you can figure out which film.  Hint: I've given a big clue in this thread already.
