Right, come on then, seeing as I've got the two of you here, what are your opinions/theories on my question!?
I will believe the earth is flat the day I fall of it, and not a moment sooner!

:'( But I changed my name to this out of the goodness of my heart to please some angry noob. Would you like me to change my name?

How about something different like Teacher Homofanny or Tutor Poofpussy?
Nothing you have said has convinced me yet!!

Its been lots of things. I think just before this it was Professor Gaystein (there were too many Einsteins on FES then) but originally its GeneralGayer. Ah at one point it was Engy Baby but no matter how hard I tried, TheEngineer wouldn't change his name to Gayer :(

Ok my theory is they didn't do what they say they did.  And actually you have provided my evidence for me.  There is no way to now accurately lock onto a solid distance traveled.  The first one you posted was 5000 miles difference.  What If I found one that was 8000 miles different would that be enough to call it a win for FE?  What about 9000 miles.  Getting close yet?  Also where did they get their lat/longs from?  I am assuming GPS.  It is said in Flat Earth Theory that the GPS signal in the Southern Hemiplane may send out false signals to delude time/distance.  Im not sure.  Considering that these were solo trips maybe they cheated somehow.  Cut corners and whatnot.  I don't know.  Just evidence on this side of the table.

I'm not buying that.  We've been through the whole 'casting aspersions' and 'conspiracy theory'.

Generally, you can try and discredit anything or anyone by saying they 'cheated'.  Did Usain Bolt 'cheat' his way to the 100 metres gold medal and world record?!

The whole 'cheat' thing is a total cop-out and reflects badly on the Flat Earth Society.

I'm disappointed, I really am.

Wardogg, based on your link to the other thread here, I can't take what you offer as 'theories' as anything other than an attempt to rile me.

Can anyone else offer an alternative theory?!

Ill bet you 10 bucks any true "FE'er" won't give you any other answer but mine.  Maybe slightly altered but the basis will be the same.  Thats why I posted them in the first place.

Geez there's no pleasing some people! They demand us to answer, we answer, and they're still not happy...this is why we don't want to answer every single repeated question, people have no gratitude  >:(

I will be grateful when I get an answer based on fact not one that a)disputes the evidence given to them or b)accuses the evidence as being part of a conspiracy.

That's your answer to most questions and all it does is make you lose even more credibility.

if this Tom Bishop has all the answers as astronomy101 claims then why has this not been answered?
Nothing you have said has convinced me yet!!

I'm not trying to be argumentative and don't believe that this is an argument but a debate, so.......

Where, precisely can I find examples of an 8,000 mile or 9,000 mile difference?

Also, can you explain what happens when you cross from the 'Northern Hemiplane' to the 'Southern Hemiplane'?  Do the GPS devices freak out and need re-calibrated?  Because that would surely get peoples attention after the first few incidences I would've thought.  I wouldn't imagine it to be a seamless transition.

And to go back to the well that is the 'cheat' scenario, who in the end would they be cheating??  You??  Me?? No, they'd only be cheating themselves, what does that achieve?  Cheats/liars are almost always found out.  To use this as a theory is akin to having a playground argument.  Calling someone a cheat is not evidence, if it was considered so, a lot of lawyers would be out of a job.

I am truly interested in the theory of a 'Flat Earth' but, like any other reasonable person, I need a lot more than 'it is said' and 'they're in on it' to even begin to weigh up what I'm reading.  So, again, I put out a plea to a fully fledged FE'r to read my question and pose an answer, if it is along the lines or indeed, identical to Wardogg's then I'll take it from there but until such time.....I think all I'm getting is smoke, mirrors and diversionary tactics from members determined to drag me and other RE'rs into a slanging match.
