Have you seen them in 3-D in a telescope? Neat trick, where can I get one?
You can get a cheap telescope at wal-mart, or pony up a few bills at a hobby shop. Then just go out and observe a bit, instead of just reiterating what others have said. If you wanted to watch Jupiters rotation, or catch a transit of one of it's moons, it may be a bit late in the year already, but that window is just going to keep closing until next summer. You'd have to be up around
4am to catch it as is.
Seriously. Why do sheep have wool and chickens lay eggs? They're different.
This also answers your question about the moons of other planets.
You really think it does don't you?
Sheep produce eggs in reproduction, and chickens have feathers.
This proves that the earth is round. Don't like that kind of logic? Then stop using it as an argument.
