Why don't round earther's set up a series of experiments that would prove a round earth and do them theirselves? Or is that too much to ask?
How about this idea for proving the Flat Earth'ers wrong? Start at some point on the Tropic of Cancer. Head east, measuring distance as you go, and continue until you get back to your starting point. Note the total distance travelled. Then go down the the Tropic of Capricorn and repeat the same procedure, measuring the distance that it takes you to go all the way around the full circle. If the two distances turn out to be the same, would that not prove that the Flat Earth model is wrong?
Forgive me if this suggestion has been made before, but I'm new to the forum. I didn't see it discussed anywhere in this or other forums and I wanted to hear a Flat Earther's response to it. Please don't counter me with the conspiracy argument. That argument is waaaaaay over used in these forums. By the way... I'll be disapointed if the Flat Earth theory were to fall so easily. I really like the Flat Earth Theory. I'm truly hoping that one of you readers can come up with a believable counter argument to my suggestion for disproving the Flat Earth Theory.
