Here's a wierd experement you can try at home.

This is called "muscle testing".
What you'll need:

A friend (yeah, you cant really do it by yourself sorry)
Some sort of poison (mercury themonetre, rat poison etc) DONT take it out of the packet, keep it sealed, it doesnt need to come out of its container at all, that's what this is about.
somthing healthy (fruit, water etc.)

This should work, though im no expert on it. I have however had it done on me, and it worked then.

Method:
Get either you or your friend to lay down, a beds goo here, but you could just be on the floor I supose.
Place one of the objects on him/her. (Around the gut area should be good)
Get your friend to place one hand high in the air (as if they had there hand strait out in front, but tehy are lying down, so its up). Get them to tensen their arm, then with significan force, push the arm along (down if they were stand up, but again, they are lying down).
Repeat with the other object on them instead. Making sure to use apoximately the same amount of force to push (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT).

Result:
or, this SHOULD be the result, it worked when tried on me.
the poison should have had a weakening effect on the person, while the heathy thing should have streangthended them. The result is significant that even if the force you use isnt BANG ON, it still is an obvious difference.

If your thinking "placebo effect" try getting your friend to pick one while your not looking or out of teh room and placing a blanket over him/herself to hide which object, or place the objects inside boxes to hide from both. Just make sure that you keep the second object away from the first while DOING the experement (dont have the poison under the banket while testing the healthy one etc).

any futher questions, dont hesetate. And I ask you PLEASE dont post shit like "THAT wouldnt work! hahahaha" before you've even tried it, it's just stupid, prove it first.

when lying down, point your hand to the sky.

and I DON'T know why it works, but it does.

You dont have to really mess around with a "poison" mercury while its still IN the thermometer is fine. and the same with anything else, perhaps even meths would work. (I know mercury works, because that's what was used with me).

I do however have 2 theories.
1. The body is surrounded by an aura which is sensitive to differnt things.
2. everything has its own personal fequncey that is different for EACH THING, and the body understands what's good and bad for it.

HELL NO, you dont ingest ANYTHING, tahts the point, you just place the stuff (still in packet) on top of your gut/stomach area while lying down. Lol, anyone can tell you that if you eat rat poison or mercury that you'll feel waeker! (especailly in comparison to an apple, lol).

this stuff is actually now being used by some doctors to decide apon a medicine, mainly for people that they everwise have no idea what to give because they just keep getting ill. The results are just great, but naturally its kicking up a stink because we dont know whats happening. In many way I understnd this, dont mess with what you dont understand, but try telling that to the person that's no longer ill.

Though, in saying that about packets, try to get rid of as much of the other stuff as possible, IF this is correct then the body should be reacting to EVERYthing around it. incuding the glass of the thermometor, cardboard packets and even plastic stickers on fruit.

Yes that's a very well done experiment. And that IS essentually muscle testing right there. Though the vertion I was shown had me laying down. Also, I didnt know how it actually worked, so when I suddenly became stronger, I was quite surprised. I also suspect that crystals are BS, lol.

I don't think they're fanatical, I just think you're trying to make the facts fit your aspirations rather than trying to get your aspirations to conform to the facts.

I have, however, been a farkwit the last couple of days - I've been letting things get the better of me. I'll start again.

Nice to see you have an open mind on any subject.

Here's one of my thoughts, if we decide not to look when something doesnt make sense to us, or when its not want we "want" to hear, then it increases the possiblily of us missing facts. You have teh right to not care, sure, but all actions have conseuences, and this action means that even if we prove this right, you'd never know.

Dude, this is a website where people ACTUALLY believe taht the world is flat, this is nothing in comparison. If that sort of "far out" thinking is too much for you, I think it would be better for you to find a differnt scientific deabting website, I'm sure they are out there.
and no, this isnt a personal attack, that's actually what I think is better for you, if you quickly disregard things.

This post was made so that people could TEST the theory, not to just say "nah, it wouldnt work". Yet, not a single person has posted and said they have or habent tried it. Im quite surprised by this. Is that just me? or does everyone but me just srug sholders when given in idea.
This isn't a difficult experiment, yet people just dont want proof. They are happy with what they thought in the first place.

   -Liam
I thought I had an idea about who the people that come to this website are, I now just think your all crazy, its sad actaully. If you were not one of these people, could you speak up and comment? (especially if you DID the experement, I too am interested to see the results).

tl;dr We don't need your New Age hippy crap here. There's no aura, or energy, and the only spiritual practice that's any good is Feng Shui, but not because of the Qi crap, it's just good home design advice.

You twit, I honestly thought I could try and be nice to you but I can't. You've got your head so far up your own ass it's amazing that you still manage to suck yourself off.

You've got an "experiment" to try that doesn't demonstrate anything. This is why you're an idiot and what you just can't seem to get. It's not because your hearts not in the right place (it is), you're just barking up the wrong tree and wasting your time and everybody else's. Watch the youtube link again, rat poison (the very same thing you said to try to show how it would weaken them) gives 'strength' in a double blind experiment - yet you still manage to think that there's something to this.

I just cannot reply or even read what you write anymore - it is the most worthless tripe I think I've ever seen on these forums.

I believe the entire purpose of the experiment was to demonstrate the placebo/nocebo effect.
