let me ask...have you personally been into space?  also, have you seen the round earth?  this is truly not arguement for my belief in a flat earth either. but because spaceships exist, and it is believed that people have been into space, that does not create or provide any evidence for either of our beliefs.

That is an insult to all of us who know the truth. I showed you photographic proof of the FE. Not out of some textbook somewhere but with my own camera. If necessary I will bring in a photographic expert to examine the photo to prove it has not been doctored in any way.

aparently there is such a thing as wind, but have you actualy seen this wind? i think its part of a goverment conspirasy.
i could not possably write all the evedence for re theory and you could not possably write ANY evedence for fe theory.

people who beleve in fe seem to hide behind a "your not open to ideas" thing witch is just as laughable the american goverment.

I like how this theory is cerefully constructed so that any attempt at disprooving it is dismissed as an attemt to quash FE'ers.

Let me tell you FE'ers something, the goverment could care less about the shape of the Earth. They are more concerend with furthuring there own agenda for economic domination. There have been PICTURES OF THE ROUND EARTH! I have seen them, we all have seen them. The goverment are not corvering up FE, they couldnt organize a suprize birth day party for a three year old, let alone keep up a conspiracy for over A THOUSAND YEARS.

Yes I have, and so would you if you flew anywhere in an aeroplane.

I have also seen thousands of photos of the earth from various curvature demonstrating angles. I have never seen a photo that indicates the flatness of the earth from an appropriate height, despite, given the sensational nature of such a photo if it existed, the likelihood of it having been brought to my attention.

Actually, I think that it's carefully constructed so that any attempt at disproving it is dismissed as erroneous' how is that different from the RE theory?

That might be plausible, assuming that the Earth is round.  Actually, no, it's not: they need to know what shape the Earth is in order to know the fastest routes for sending their ICBMs and long-distance bombers around.  Come to think of it, that's a good reason why they'd hide the true shape of the Earth: so when Iran tries to lauch intercontinental missles at the U.S. (or whatever) they fall harmlessly in the Atlantic, or better yet, go over the Ice Wall.

Although, thats a reason why the government would care... Why would we care? The government already knows the shape of the Earth, whether it is Flat or Round.
I know for a fact that I couldn't care less about the shape of the world, as well as many others. And the people who *need* to know, would surely be in the loop.

The Ice Wall is a little thicker than the walls in your house, I should think.  I would estimate..... the radius of Antarctica.  An ICBM wouldn't destroy the Ice Wall, or even put a hole in it that would allow water to flow into space.

Does anybody remember a few years ago when the Columbia Space craft broke apart while re-entering the round earth in 2003?

Well I live in north Texas. I was able to watch see it as it burned over the sky that saturday morning. Space re-entry decentigrated and it's path went over the pacific ocean, over California, nearly over my head, and so on. If I wanted, I could have driven to one of the places where a piece of the space ship actually crashed. (They showed another piece on the news.)

That is one of the reasons I believe the when National Space programs say they've been to earth, I believe it. Because I've seen that ship burning in the air around the time news reported it.

Also... I wonder if scientists never left earth, where do the space shuttles go when they lift off? The there's a camera that usually follows them for as long as they can see it. So where do they go after they fly so high straight up that it can't be seen anymore?

Try quoting the entire bit... As it stands anyways, the government and us are linked... If they didn't inform a few of the officials about the Ice Wall how are they suppose to keep it a secret.

2: I'm here because I'm bored.

3:Somehow, I think a ICBM would make short work of frozen water...

You saw it burning up in the air?  You mean, not in the vacuum of space?  Interesting.  So how do you know it was in space?  Furthermore, how do you know why it was burning up, or that the thing you saw was a space station?  Perhaps it was an experimental craft which, like Icarus, flew too close to the sun?

You're awesome... I like how you divide the quotes up and stuff. But I dont think I'm going to take that route. Anyways

1. Yes.. I mean space... Thanks for correcting me that little mistake.

2. I saw it burning in the sky.. it burned after entering the earth's atmosphere. Wich means it already passed the earth's atmosphere as it crashed on earth.

3. I've seen a shuttle launch if you mean seen it on anything from professional TV cameras to home movie cameras.  I havent seen it in in person. I've never been to Florida or Houston. I know they exsist and I've seen pictures and photos of Florida and Houston on TV and the Internet, I believe that those places exsist.

Okay, so you saw it while it was in the atmosphere.  That's it.  You don't have any particularly good reason to know that the thing was in fact a space station except that NASA said so.

Quote

That's too bad.  Since you said you've seen it go straight up, I would have considered it proof that the Earth is flat -- or at least, that it doesn't rotate.  You see, if the Earth were rotating, then the space shuttle would appear to follow a curved trajectory as its altitude increased.  Following an apparently straight path would cost extra delta-v.

It is trying probably, but the earth is accelerating upwards fast enough that it always "catches" it.

Kinda like on a round earth; the net relative acceleration between the earth and the atmosphere is 0. All the other component accelerations don't really matter.

You must have misread me.  I didn't say, "You didn't realize that the pictures were fake", although perhaps many of them are.  I said "You are misinterpreting them."  I can see how you'd confuse the two sentences as they are very similar in appearance: they are both made with black letters from the same alphabet, forming English phrases, displayed on a gray background.  Of  course, the similarities end there.
